Croatia unveil new adidas kits with Glagolitic script and lace design

The Croatian Football Federation unveiled new home and away kits for the national team. This ends a long association with Nike and refreshes the iconic identity of the Vatreni.

The home shirt preserves the traditional red-and-white checkerboard pattern but with new details. The red squares feature tonal Glagolitic script characters, the oldest known Slavic alphabet. The back collar bears the word 'Croatia' written in Glagolitic script. The adidas shoulder stripes are red, while the sleeve cuffs and collar are white with red and blue stripes.
