Croatia's national team players were in action for their clubs across various European leagues from October 7 to 14. The most notable contribution came from Joško Gvardiol, who came off the bench to provide an assist in Manchester City's significant 3-0 Premier League win over Liverpool on October 11.

Beyond Gvardiol, several other players featured from the start for their sides. For PSV Eindhoven, Ivan Perišić played the full 90 minutes in a Champions League loss to RB Leipzig, after appearing as a substitute in a league win. In La Liga, Luka Sučić completed the match for Real Sociedad in a 3-2 victory, while Ante Budimir scored a goal for Osasuna in their defeat.

In the Bundesliga, Josip Stanišić started for Bayern Munich in a draw and later appeared as a substitute in Europe. Igor Matanović also started for SC Freiburg in their win.

These club appearances come on the heels of a challenging period for the national side. Croatia's form in their last four matches reads one win and three defeats.

The next major fixture for The Blazers is an away trip to face England on November 12.
