The Croatia national football team attended the 'Croatia in the Game' promotional event at the AKA Alexandria hotel, where players, coach Zlatko Dalić, and guests like John Malkovich gathered. The event was organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Croatia and the Croatian Tourist Board, in cooperation with the Croatian Football Federation. Along with many prominent American guests, partners, and media, the main guests were one of the most respected American actors, John Malkovich, who had a leading role in the new promotional film for Croatian tourism. The players of the Croatia national football team, led by coach Zlatko Dalić, legendary Croatian basketball player Toni Kukoč, President of the Croatian Football Federation Marijan Kustić, and Minister of Tourism and Sports Tonči Glavina also attended the event. As part of the program, the new promotional film for Croatian tourism was premiered, featuring the renowned world actor of Croatian origin, John Malkovich. 'Thank you for all the emotions and love, for the attention you give us. All this means a lot to us, it's an additional motivation', Dalić addressed the attendees. The players and coach did not stay too long at the event, but there was enough time for many selfies and autographs. Perišić and Modrić spent some time talking to basketball legend Kukoč, and the entire team was photographed with Malkovich. President of the Croatian Football Federation Marijan Kustić stated that he was pleased with such events that connect Croatia and the Croatian diaspora, thanking the organizers for the entire event. Minister of Sports and Tourism Tonči Glavina emphasized that this is a special evening where many connections between Croatia and the USA are celebrated. Director of the Croatian Tourist Board Kristijan Staničić emphasized that tonight we celebrate Croatian-American friendship, but also the Croatian national team that has made us proud many times.
